Three sessions is the usual recommendation because collagen results build from one session to the next. What Is a PRP Facial and How Does It Work?
A PRP facial uses platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to stimulate collagen and elastin. We draw a small amount of blood from your arm, usually 10 to 20 ml, and spin it in a centrifuge to separate the plasma. We then apply the plasma with microneedling or inject it into targeted areas. Its growth factors trigger the skin's repair response, so tone, texture and fine lines improve gradually over the following weeks. Because the plasma comes from you, the risk of an allergic reaction is low.
A PRP facial won't freeze muscles like Botox or replace lost volume like filler. It improves skin quality, and that is what it's best for.

PRP Facial Results, Downtime and Sessions

Skin often looks brighter and smoother within one to two weeks. Collagen changes show at around four to six weeks, with peak improvement often around three months.
After the first three sessions, most clients return once or twice a year to maintain results, which can last a year or more. For the first 24 to 48 hours, skip makeup, retinol and acids, avoid sun exposure and use sunscreen daily. Who Is a Good Candidate for a PRP Facial?
PRP facials suit adults who want to improve fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores, dark circles, uneven tone or dull, tired-looking skin without fillers, chemicals or surgery. We don't treat clients with bleeding disorders, platelet dysfunction or an active skin infection in the treatment area. PRP is also not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
